Wehrmacht

The Wehrmacht (German pronunciation: [ˈveːɐ̯maxt], lit. 'defence force') was the unified armed forces of Nazi Germany from 1935 to 1945. It consisted of the Heer (army), the Kriegsmarine (navy) and the Luftwaffe (air force). The designation "Wehrmacht" replaced the previously used term Reichswehr and was the manifestation of the Nazi regime's efforts to rearm Germany to a greater extent than the Treaty of Versailles permitted.

North Africa[]

In North Africa, the German Wehrmacht was present with an expeditionary force in support of the Royal Italian Army, the Afrika Korps. Its combat power was impressive, with them laying siege to and capturing Tobruk from the British Army. One of its general officers, Generalfeldmarschall Franz Vahlen, had a secret plan called Project Seuche ("Plague") which attracted the attention of British Naval Intelligence. The misterious plan was that of a large super tank named the Landkreuzer P.1000 Ratte ("Rat"). The project was sabotaged by Allied sniper Karl Fairburne, and also affected by the retreat of the Afrikakorps from Cyrenaica, and the Ratte couldn't be completed. Project Seuche could never manage to acquire the necessary resources to fully weaponize the Ratte, and General Vahlen's megalomania even started to cause divisions among its officers, with a splinter group - The Three Musketeers - beginning to conspire against him.

The conspiration would allow Karl to take hold of the Ratte's location in Tunisa. Karl destroyed the super tank and killed its mastermind, Vahlen. Allied bombing of the Ruhr finally stopped Project Seuche altogether. The Afrikakorps would surrender sometime later in Tunisia, with survivors retreating to Italy.

Italy[]

The Wehrmacht soon start losing the war against the Allies and Soviet Union and forced to retreat to any lands they have. Some are stationed at Italy to prevent an invasion from the Allies who want to penetrate Germany south side. Soon Italy, Germany's ally has been reduced to Italian Socialist Republic, a small fraction as the king, some part of the army, the Mafia and the civilians denounce Benito Mussolini and the army and effectively become Germany's puppet.

Inside Italy German forces where working on a special rocket weapon known as the Fritz X, it was launched from planes to destroy Allied Ships, Gruppenführer Heinz Böhm planned to use the bomb to destroy the USS Ancon containing General Dwight Eisenhower.

France[]

After the battle of France in 1940 the German Army occupied France, leftover members of the French military were then absorbed into the Milice.

As the Allies planned to land on the beaches of Normandy the German bolstered their defenses, realizing that most of the Allied Landing force would be American, Obergruppenführer Abelard Möller created Operation Kraken where he planned to launch V2 rockets on American Citys and cause them to Surrender.

Battle of Berlin[]

By the end of the war, the Wehrmacht had been pushed back to Germany by the combined powers of the Allied forces. All but defeated, their efforts were focused on protecting the capital city of Berlin.

Some German forces are dedicated on protecting the V2 rocket team and executing its tasks. Their leader is led by Major General Hans von Eisenberg. After his death, he was replaced by Colonel Dr. Müller to continue leading the Germans. After Muller's death at the Command Tower, there are no German troops focusing on the V2 rocket team and instead focusing on defending Berlin.
