The Vergeltungswaffe 2 (V-2), was the world's first long-range guided ballistic missile. The missile with a liquid-propellant rocket engine was developed during the Second World War in Germany as a "vengeance weapon", designed to attack Allied cities as retaliation for the Allied bombings against German cities.
Karl Faiburne is tasked with killing several people who worked on the V-2 programme and destroy the production facility. He was alerted to a final fuctioning rocket being armed with a Tabun payload which was being aimed for London. Fairburne destroyed it by shooting it's fuel tank after it fueled.
