The Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP) which translates to: National Socialist German Workers' Party in English and colloquially referred to as the Nazi Party, was a German Political Party active from 1920-1945, They were led by Adolf Hitler for the vast majority of their existence.
They used racially driven propaganda, and touted the idea of a people's community of those who were "desirable." and were know to impose exclusionary segregation to those deemed inferior to the "Aryan Master Race" such as Africans and homosexuals. They also sought the extermination, of the Jewish and Romani people, as well as the mentally and physically handicapped.
From 1933-1945 the ruled Germany in a totalitarian regime, commonly known as The Third Reich.
The Nazi Party was dissolved following Germany's defeat at the end of the Second World War, and the death of Adolf Hitler.
